THE HISTORY AND MEANING OF THE LESBIAN FLAG

The lesbian flag ’s history is relatively recent , emerging in response to the dominance of the rainbow flag within the broader LGBTQ+ movement . Initially, designers felt that the rainbow flag didn't adequately acknowledge lesbian experiences and identities. In 1999, Denise Lyon designed a flag
